Daydreams are so……What’s the word I need here, humm…….I know! Silly.
Like this morning, when I woke up. I started re-hashing the day before. It was one of those ‘got up late, missed a belt loop’ kinda days. You know; one of those ‘I wanna’ be anywhere but here’ days, no matter where you are. You know what I mean….sure ya’ do. And you know how daydreams are. Sort of like nightdreams; you go from a bicycle to a boat, then to a room that you know but can’t see. Talking to a dude you to know, but can’t see. Then you wake up (at least you think you did) and continue the saga of silly. This particular morning the silly went into overdrive. (When it does that, just go with it, right?). For some reason, I was trying to dig up my earliest memories. I went back as far as I could (and fell asleep again)… My earliest memory…In the beginning…
In the beginning, the first thing I ever did was notice something. So I BECAME!
I BECAME a ‘NOTICER’. I noticed that there was a light. I noticed that I must “BE” to notice the light. Because… there it was. I must be a light ‘noticer’. Yea, that’s it… I am a light noticer. I don’t know exactly how long I stayed in that state; staring at the light; but one (day?) I noticed something else. I noticed the light MOVED! This is where it get’s all screwed up, because I also noticed that I could hear the light that I noticed was now moving; and that I couldn’t stop any of this… new, wonderful, becoming of movement and light and sound and stuff…. It was then that I decided….decided? I have BECOME a DECIDER! You see, I WANTED to stop the movement of the sound of the light, so I could look at it. So I had to decide, because I no longer WANTED to BE a ‘NOTICER’ anymore so I ‘DECIDED’ not to. It was then that I NOTICED… that the sights and sounds of the movement continued no matter what I decided. So It was then that I realized…. I REALIZZZZED?, damn, now I have BECOME a ‘REALIZER’ too???? So, finally, I REALIZED I was doomed TO-BE a watcher of the noisy moving light. A decision has to be made! I don’t want this. Want?
Maybe this could be going back a little too far; …anyway, I notice that I’ve been noticing things for a very long time now. I finally FIGURED OUT that all the noisy light wasn’t really moving at all. It twas’ I that were doing the moving. Not because I WANTED to move, I was BEING moved by jolly and against my will to boot! I didn’t WANT this, I WANTED to be a ‘WANTER’, and I still do. Above it all, by ding do dally, I want things! But wait…I have things…don’t want em’, but I got em’. Where did they come from? From? What is “from”? Now I’m a little frightened. All the noticing of the movement has taken me somewhere, and now I know I am SOMEWHERE. Noticing this made me WANT to BE somewhere else. Time to sit down. Sit?? Oh well. Sit. Sit and notice. Notice that I am somewhere, and I have things; and most important…..I want to be somewhere else… and have something else… What to do???
It took me years to FIGURE OUT that even if light makes sound, well, it just shouldn’t, because I don’t WANT it to. But what could I do, I had BECOME something. I need to figure out how to un-be some of these things that I have BECOME, without, at the same time, BECOMING something else, like a FIGURE-OUTER. The last thing I WANT to DO is to BECOME something else as I FIGURE OUT how to BECOME UN-BEEN. This time it will be different, because I’ve LEARNED. The question now is, have I, or did I? Have I BECOME a LEARNER? This is where I FIGURED OUT that I really didn’t know. Did I BECOME a LEARNER, or did I REALIZE I was a LEARNER, FIGURE OUT I was a LEARNER… Did I simply NOTICE I was a LEARNER, or do I WANT to be one…? Do you see where I’m going with all this? Are you following my wonderful revelation? So this is where I find myself; I think I finally have a solution to my dilemma. There’s only one way to DO something without BECOMING a DOER,that is to TRY something that I FIGURED OUT that I didn’t WANT to WANT. ( I couldn’t help but notice), I have figured out that I’ve decided to want to not become the learner that I have become, and do absolutely nothing about it!
Reality vs Common sense
Let’s face it. If it were common, it would seem a lot more people would have it.
There are bezillions of misconceptions in the Scriptures. They all came about from one source. Jesus employed a curse in Revelations, saying cursed would be the man that added words to the Scriptures. How do they get added? Who adds them? It may surprise you to learn that man’s mind is on auto-add. Because of this we have different denominations, interpretations, and your run-of-the-mill everyday arguments. There are a few reasons your faith doesn’t ‘work’. These are the same reasons the Church doesn’t ‘work’. Same for ineffective prayer. One reason is discord. The other is the curse Jesus implemented for adding words. All this comes from “how” you hear (or read). When you hear, or read, your mind “automatically” “adds to” what you hear. This installment will be a sort of look down the road for this series.
Mark 4:24, “Take heed what ye hear: with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you: and to you that hear shall more be given.”
Luke 8:18, “Take heed therefor how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.”
Mat 16:6 ” Jesus said, ‘take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.”
These can all be looked at as curses. They are. They are also safeguards. “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump”.
Jesus, and or belief in a God or anything supernatural seems to be contrary to science. It is not, and actually goes along with it perfectly. In quantum physics, and other sciences, we study magnets, and shapes that create unique energies, (crystals as unique as fingerprints, and are used for the frequency that goes ‘to-and-from’ your cellphone). Your own DNA is a blueprint for your unique shape. This shape creates an energy that identifies itself by your name. We already know shapes create energy. This is old science. I want to talk about some things, and at the same time give you and example of the way we hear. We talked about language, mental telepathy, the tower of Babel, and about the Church being of one accord.
Language is such now as to cause your mind to “add to” almost everything you hear.
The reason is that we are separated, and not of one accord. The Scriptures tell us that at Pentecost they “were all of one mind, and of one ‘accord‘”. These cords are not some magic mumbo jumbo that only the chosen few can attain to. It is a frequency matter. These frequencies are literal highways in the physical world, but can very well be seen as magic. In fact, when radio communication came about, many of the older folk thought it was magic.
We talked about how point of view when reading can, and does vary. If we read, “for all have sinned” from one perspective it means all. In another perspective, if I walk up to you, put my arm around you and point at a specific group; then say the exact same words, then it does not mean everyone, but only the group. This is where the “problem” comes in. The exact same words are used, and two completely different meanings are deduced. This “curse” was put here for a reason; so we couldn’t get it wrong. My aim is to bring Jesus into your “reality”. He is a living, breathing, alive now person that I have personally met….in the spirit, and more importantly, in the flesh. He is not Santa Clause.
To give you an example of how to take heed, I’ll give you a truth. In Genesis 3:21, man knew he was naked, so God ‘brought‘ man coats of skin. I highlighted ‘brought‘ because this is a common misconception. The mind ‘adds’ this….
“and he killed some animals, and clothed them with the skins of animals“
This may seem like not such a big deal. However, as stated above, a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. This “not-so-big-a-deal” will cause you to see things a certain way. In turn, you will “be” a certain way. For example, if you want to see the skin God clothed Adam with, just pinch your forearm, pull the “skin” up and watch it fall back into place. That is the “skin” we were clothed with, and still is.
You could even call it a spirit prison, but then that would be another “add-on”.
There are many misconceptions, right? Would you believe all of your beliefs are a misconception, if any of them are? If we are to believe Jesus teaching, then a little makes all. There is no “almost there”. I am (for lack of a better word) weird. Different people pray for different things. Once I knew God, instead of just hoped He was there, I asked Him, “How did you do all this?” I meant “all” this; life and everything that goes with it. He said something remarkable. He said that if you want to create life, the very first thing you have to have is a story. Imagine that. I have a blog on my website about that called “Why Us?” Think about it. Why did He create us? The fact that He did with free will seems to go against the very concept of “God”. I find it helps to put yourself in God’s place sometimes, and ask yourself, “Why this or that?” This is how Jesus answered most of my questions. He would say, “How would you feel about this if you were me?”
The first time He said that I was actually playing the part of Jesus in the Church Christmas play. The Church wanted to depict the scene where everyone threw their crowns at Jesus feet, and “fell down and worshiped” Him. When the other Church people in the play started crawling around my feet, and bowing up and down, I felt really uncomfortable about that. That’s the first time Jesus spoke to me “not in a body”. He said,
“If you were me, would you want a bunch of people crawling around on the floor at your feet?“
My answer (in my mind. I didn’t say this) was a great big hell no. He doesn’t want that either. (see “Why Us?”) The whole thing is much more simple than people realize. I asked an earlier post what you thought God wants. What’s Jesus want? Everyone tells Him what they want, but few want to know what He wants. Here’s a clue. John 15:15,
“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what the lord doeth; but I have called you friends.”
Note that He is trying to get off the high horse people put him on. It is the whole point of the Gospel that He comes as a man, and not “a God“. He also tried to explain this to Peter when He washed Peter’s feet. Here is the biggest reason Jesus is not recognized. They look for a flying superhuman wizkid with lightning for shoes, and not a simple man. Don’t get me wrong. This simple man holds the keys to death and hell. However,
He is still the same simple man that was crucified, and God did raise Him up.
He’s still Himself; a simple man. I hope to explain (with and without science) how He can and will be seen by everyone. Note that the misconception is that He will be seen by everyone “at the same time“. “At the same time” is an “add on from the mind” as well, and you won’t find it written there.
This is a glimpse down the road for this series. I want to show how quantum physics is used, and what makes eternal life work. In other words, how this all works. There are “how” people, and there are “why” people. I was always a how person. To me the why is simple. Why not? We are here taking up space, and wasting time anyway, so why not find out how?
Also, if you’re wanting to find out things, why not find the One that knows the most about it? The answers are so simple they are beyond advanced math, even though math is used. Look at the Old Testament. God is a stickler for measurement, and everything is by precise measure. The temple Solomon built is a good example. Later on we will look at that, and see what it was supposed to do, and what it “ended up being” because of the same curse.
It is no coincidence the pyramids and temples were lined up with true magnetic north, nor that they were “charged” by lunar cycles.
I want to get you to “take heed” of some things. You have to look at the whole picture. An Indian once told me I had to “stop the world” before I could see what he sees. I stop Bible verses the same way. Jesus said “Behold, I stand at the door and knock” STOP! Why go anywhere else? If this verse is true, then it seems to be a dandy place to start a search! The whole “denounce the worldly ways” thing in the Bible is about this. Do you realize how many ways we can use the word “world” for different things? Another way to think about it is the reason you are reading this now. You know that there is more to the world than what’s on the surface. That’s why we search for “truth”.
Acts 20:28, One of my favorite verses, should be read here. I would post it, but why deny you the chance to get your Bible out? Hebrews 3:12 is very similar. It’s about keeping it on the real side of things. 1 Cor 3:10, 1 Tim 4:16, Luke 11:35John 16:15
The Whole Cow.
I have a flesh self. I have a spirit self. I have a born-again self that is married to the Holy Spirit. And, I have a self that will manifest all the other selves at times.
Paul sometimes made statements followed by the remark, “I speak now as a man”. His job is similar to mine, in that he was explaining the transition from one covenant to another; from flesh to spirit…..from death to life. Spiritual things cannot be explained to fleshly minds; carnal, or “man’s mind”. 1 Cor 2:14, “But the natural man recieveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto “him”: neither can “he” know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”. I am talking to you now as a man.
When people say that they are speaking, walking, or whatever “in the spirit”; if they are taking to you about God, or understanding God or the scriptures, then they are not “in the spirit”. If they were, two things would happen. 1) You wouldn’t understand them, and 2) You wouldn’t understand them. Period.
Spirits also only say what is already said, and the Scriptures are what they say, have said, or ever will say. Because of this we have many gross misinterpretations, and misunderstandings in Scripture. Above I said I am four ‘selves’. I am actual only two, since the spirit me is married to God’s Spirit, they are one. The rapture is one such misunderstood passage, and we will discuss it later…”and one will be taken, and one will be left”.
Why do we pray for things, and nothing happens?
To figure this out, let’s look at Job. He prayed every morning, as some of you probably do. It’s not the praying often, but how he prayed, and what for. He prayed for his children, and was worried that they may curse God in their heart. He obviously worried about this a lot; he prayed the same prayer every morning. God has a way of keeping you focused on what is important in life. The world is necessary, but most importantly, temporary. You, however, are not temporary. This was taught to Job by the loss of everything he prayed for. Somehow I don’t think this was the answer Job wanted. Job is a good study for us, and if there ever was a man that was considered by God as righteous by works, it was Job.
This is the problem. Works. Many a debate have been over the usage and terminology of the word “works” in Scripture. What do we actually supposed to do? The answer to this is also the reason our prayers are impotent. It may seem to you that for some reason you just can’t get it the way you want it. There always has to be a seeming downside. I pray for something in the world, and my answer is to denounce the world. Well, the fact is, we live in the world, and in no way does God want us to denounce it, as some may think.
He wants us to include Jesus in it. BIG difference.
What is really going on with us, and what I hope to show you is this: What you pray for is not wrong, and not being kept from you. You are praying for a gallon of milk, but God wants to give you the whole cow.
Holy men of old prayed, and shook the ground. The Bible also tells us to be Holy. What is Holy? The use of it in the new testament, as pertaining to us, is the Greek word ‘Kadosh’. It means “set aside”, separate. We are vessels to God. Houses. A place for His Spirit to live. In Gen 2:3, we see that the first use of the same word translated involves a rest from works. We are sanctified, and saved by Grace. The first time the word grace appears in the Bible is Gen 6:8. “and Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah’s name means “rest”. (from the study of Scriptures series). Hebrews 4: 1-11 should be read here. “Go ahead, I’ll wait…”
Hebrews 4:11, “Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief”. Now read Ephesians 2:4-9. I will wait again. If you truly want to increase your faith, then stop and read it. It’s only about five sentences that can in themselves change your mind about faith. because The last line, Ephesians 2″9, says, “Not of works lest we should boast”, Faith and works, not faith verses works. I want your faith to work.
The whole point of the Gospel is that we are born again, and different. If you did read the above Scripture, you will see that we have been raised with Jesus, and He is “sitting”.
We were made to “sit down” with Him in heavenly places, with all things subject unto us. Look at Job again, and see what happens when we don’t rest. Job 3:25-26, “For the thing that I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet, yet trouble came.”. No rest = trouble. In the previous parts of this series, I told you to think about what you want. If you have taken this to heart (also covered) some of you will still not know. My aim is to teach people how to be effective when you pray. Your faith means everything, and as the Scripture says, “without faith it is impossible to please God”. Look at faith as a muscle that has to be exercised. 2 Cor 5:7,
“We walk by faith, not by sight” Why is this verse so important?
Since the beginning, there have been whisperings in the ear about what to think, what to look at, what to focus on. From the first “Who told you that you were naked?” until today we have had someone, or something “telling” us things. He’s the whispering idiot. The same one that told Job to worry about his life.
In order to “build” your faith, you have to “start building”.
Start by not asking for the same thing twice. This is an ongoing exercise. God is looking for an attitude. A mindset. He is waiting for you to get to a point in your life where you say to yourself, “I don’t care what it looks like, I trust You anyway. I don’t care if I ever get what I pray for, I thank you anyway for what I have.” God will not give you what you what if you are not thankful for what you have. You first have to be thankful for the little things. A person that is in a wheelchair, if he wants to get out of it, has to think like this. “God, I want to walk, and I know you can make me walk. Either way, I thank you that I at least have legs, even though they don’t work. I thank you for this chair (some people that can’t walk don’t have them). I thank you for what I do have.” One of the biggest problems is that God sees people without food, or even water to drink, and people with water praying for something. The problem isn’t the prayer, nor is it a bad thing to live in a country that has it all. You were meant to be here, and not there. The problem is that we are not thankful for being here.
Some work for you: This is a Godly work. This is the “work” the Scripture is talking about…
Practice looking around at what you have, and being thankful for it, and most importantly thanking God for it. Also, ask for that “thing” once more with an attitude that it is the last time you will ask. Attitude is something that takes a little time to develop. Remember also to exercise this… Listen “for” the whispering idiot, not “to” him. Learn his lies. When he whispers a worry in your ear, tell him this…”It doesn’t matter what it looks like now, because my God is with me, and I am thankful for that. Because of that, it will not always look like this.” Learn to rest. This is a practice, and a work that will lead you to the whole cow.
