Charee White didn’t win any television contest and get bankrolled, packaged, and delivered. This young lady is old school. She took the hard road. She’s paying her dues, and it’s paying off.
She is my breakout artist of the year pick for 2017.
Her rockin’ style of country is definitely taking her in a new direction…strait to the top of the charts. I have been following her since she played small clubs and venues in front of small crowds and a handful of diehard fans and family members. They all knew she was going places, as did I. Isn’t it good when your intuitions turn out to be right?
At the ripe old age of eighteen she was honored with the 2013 New Artist of the Year at the Inspirational Country Music Awards in Nashville . Chareè released her debut album, “Stronger,” with the first single charting at #17 and her second single going all the way to #1. Her new single from her album “Keepin It Country” did very well on the Country Breakout Chart, and got her the recognition she worked so hard for. Her dream is to “change the world one song at a time“. I think she has a great start, and her handful of die-hard fans has now grown to fill the seats of stadiums. She has a show with Kellie Pickler coming up this month, a girl who did in fact place a top spot in American Idol. Fate knows no ironies, but you can’t beat good old fashion hard work.
Whether you like rock, or country, blues, or bluegrass/folk/acoustic , she has you covered. Her newest album “Here We Go Again” came out just this week, and features six new songs as well as the bullet chart hit “Alive”. I invite all you Rockers, Bluesers, and Country music fans alike to give her a listen. You’ll be glad you did.
