A word to Christians:
Just a word about “running out of time”, or “the end is near”, and the doomsday clock. As Christians, even though we are saved, sin remains in our flesh, by nature. Logic and reason are also natural attributes. The grace of God is not logical, nor is it within reason. The Bible read with your logical mind is unreasonable, and why we have atheism. Even though we are saved, sin still remains in our flesh, and we can (and do) bounce back and forth between the spirit and flesh, or between logic (reason), and understanding things that are not logical.
Gen 1; In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Our entire salvation depends on this one verse. It’s either true, or it is not. If you can’t believe Gen 1, then you can’t believe John 3:16. If you can’t learn to dwell on this one verse, then you can’t learn anything about our creator. There is a way to bridge the gap between logic and Grace. Logically, if Gen 1 is the truth, then math will apply to it. Gen 1:14, And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for “signs”, and for seasons, and for days, and years: The calender we have is pagan. It’s logical. A good bit of Christianity today has a pagan origin. To have time divided, and correspond to planetary alignments, is logical. Another way to look at logical, is to say “this we can see”.
Now, Prophecy, the prediction of future events, predestination, and things such as these, are not logical. Nor is Gen, 1:14, unless Gen,1 is true. Doomsday preachers, and the next celestial catastrophe, the next end, no matter how silly they are, and even though none of the nuts were right, all involved heavenly bodies (or planets, asteroids, comets, etc…). For planetary alignments to coincide with dates of prophecy; and for them to be recorded before the event, would defy any and all logic. Here’s some math for you. Without getting into names, or degrees (Google it 🙂 ), a math scholar said the chances that Moses would write the creation sequence in the correct order that they occurred, were 1 in 132000000000000000000000. Anyone know how to spell sextrillion? 🙂 It’s twenty one zero’s. 😕 NASA knows some things now that can be Googled, that elementary math can be applied to, that also defies logic. As far as odds go, what are they, and what do they tell us? Example:
April 14, 2014, we will have what is known as a blood moon. It’s the first of four, with a solar eclipse in between the four. This is the actual prophecy Given by Joel in Joel 2:31, and again in acts by Peter. (Acts 2:20). And the sun will be darkened, and the moon turned into blood. As far as coincidence goes, the events that have been prophesied that have already happened: for them to also coincide with not only major Celestial events, but to also coincide with major Jewish ordinances (such as Passover, ect…), is mind boggling enough without the next thing I’m going to say. What’s the chances that this blood moon could happen three times, and still coincide with the exact date of Jewish passover, and also coincide with major changes for the Jewish people? Google these three dates for moon, and for Jewish history. April 14,1492, April 14,1948, and April 14,1967. All blood moon dates on passover, and as some of you already know, dates that are major event dates for the Jewish people. Now Google, April 14,2014 for the next blood moon, again, on passover.
This date April 14, 2014 is no end date, but one of the prophecies that say, “this must happen before the day of the Lord”, and also, “this will signify a time of major change for the Jews”. This prophecy is also a sign for the beginning of the end. I have heard people say the Genesis account can’t be true, because it’s not logically true. According to this account, the stars and planets were put there for signs, and times, days, months, and years, but for this writing, signs. The Christmas story has three wise men that followed a star, and told Mary and Joseph, “we have seen His star”. This star moved. In Joshua 10, the Kings banded together (five kings of the Amorites) to destroy Israel. As night came, Joshua “spoke to the sun”, and told it to “stand still”, and to the moon, and “told” it to stay in the valley of Ajalon, and it did. In 2 Kings, 20:8-11, a sign was given to a man that he would live another fifteen years, and the sign was that the sun would “back up” (or reverse direction-rise during it’s fall) exactly 10 degrees. Now, this is anything but logical. Neither is what will happen in April 14, 2014.
